Wiring Instructions for Heavy Duty Pull-Chain Switches
Strip all wire leads that will go into switch 5/16".
The "load" wire coming from the power source or outlet (normally Black wire) is always placed in the opening marked "L".
The "load" or "hot" leads on the fixture (normally Black - or multi-colored on fans) should then be placed into the openings marked 1(I), 2(II), or 3(III) depending on the switch and the sequence preferred.
D02-D325 ON A NORMAL PENDANT FIXTURE WITH
6 CANDELABRA BULBS AND A DOWN LIGHT:
•The Black lead from the candle sockets goes into
the opening 1(I).
•The Black lead from the down light goes into the
opening 2(II).
•It should work as follows:
All off

1st pull - Candelabra bulbs on. Down light off
2nd pull - Down light on, Candelabra bulbs off
3rd pull - Candelabra bulbs and Down light on
4th pull - All off again
D02-D321 ON A 3 SPEED FAN:
• First determine which of the colored leads controls
each speed on the fan.
• Place the low speed lead into opening 1(I), medium
speed into 2(II), and high speed into 3(III).
• It should work as follows:
Off
1st pull - Low speed
2nd pull - Medium speed
3rd pull - High speed
  4th pull - Off again

Note: The neutral splicer on the D02-D321 is simply a    built-in connector for 'the two neutral leads so that a   wire connector and electrical tape are not neccessary.

D02-4-327: Same as D02-4-321 only with two speeds          instead of three.
